Company History

November-64	Meisho Co.,Ltd. was established as the solder sales company as a major agent of Senju Metal Industry Co., Ltd. in Suginami Ward, Tokyo.
May-66	Meisho completed and moved the headquarters building to current location.
January-69	Meisho established the R&D department, and started to develop our own products such as electronics device exchanging equipments and desoldering tools.
March-78	Meisho established a new structure as a company with both trading and manufacturing business functions.
May-79	Meisho established Kanagawa Meisho Co., Ltd., an affiliate company in the sales division in Chigasaki city, Kanagawa prefecture.
January-82	Meisho started exhibiting at Nepcon Japan in Harumi, Tokyo.
October-84	Meisho established Shinetsu Meisho Co., Ltd. in Ina-shi, Nagano Prefecture, aiming to enhance the sales system in Nagano prefecture.
June-86	Meisho started exhibiting at JPCA show in Harumi, Tokyo.
November-86	Meisho changed the company name from Chinese character’s version to MEISHO and completed trademark registration of “MEISHO”. Meisho also entered into distributor agreement with a surface mounted device manufacturer, Tenryu Technics Co., Ltd. (currently, IM business division of Yamaha Motor).
January-91	Meisho started full-scale manufacturing and sales of surface mounting and related products.
March-97	Meisho opened the Nagano Sales office established in Ina-shi, Nagano prefecture.
August-98	Meisho established M.S. Engineering Co., Ltd., a joint venture company mainly aiming to sell rework machines.
September-99	The old Ome factory became narrowed and moved to a new factory (present location).
January-09	Meisho rebuilt the headquater building and completed it.
November-13	Meisho celebrated the 50th anniversary of the establishment.
May-16	Meisho activated as an active member of IVI (Industrial Value Chain Initiative).
August-17	Meisho opened the liaison office in East China area (in Shanghai).
March-18	Meisho will establish the representative office in the South China area (in Shenzhen).
